Working Girl
Season 1 (OLD FORMAT) - The Ultimate Boys’ Club
This episode is part of our first season, which focused on gender bias in the corporate world. The show has since evolved to be about women on the front lines of social justice.
This week, I’m talking to a woman who previously worked in engineering. And when I say she worked in a boys’ club, I’m not kidding. I’m talking…1 woman on a team of 150 men!
What starts out as a conversation about her personal experiences with feeling marginalized and uncomfortable in a male-dominated environment, turns into an amazing conversation about the state of workplace gender bias as well as allyship and holding people accountable. We also discuss the importance of acknowledging and trusting your feelings as indicators of boundary violations or discomfort in the workplace.
This is a great episode for women and men alike so make sure to tune in!
